Description (TL;DR): Our Public Hub just got a full UI makeover and now ships with ready‑to‑run pipeline templates. Enterprise users can also create and share their own templates inside the Private Hub—perfect for cross‑team MLOps.
Why the Update?
Until today, the Public Hub was great for single‑step Run and Service examples, but multi‑step workflows still required hand‑rolled YAML. Meanwhile, enterprise teams wanted a private space to co‑develop and standardize pipelines. We’ve solved both.
What’s New at a Glance
UI Refresh (Public Hub): Cleaner grid, rich thumbnails, category chips.
Built‑in pipeline templates (Public/Private Hub): VESSL‑curated, versioned pipeline blueprints you can fork & run in one click.
Template creation & collaboration (Private Hub): Org members can create, edit, and publish their own pipeline templates for internal reuse.
Heads‑up: Only VESSL can publish templates to the Public Hub, ensuring quality & security. Your organization, however, has full authoring rights in its Private Hub.
Pipeline Templates — Zero‑to‑Production in One Click
Templates distill best practices into a shareable YAML + UI graph you can execute or adapt:
- Llama 3.1 Fine‑tuning – Fine‑tune and optionally quantize Meta’s newest LLM using QLoRA, then auto‑upload adapters to Hugging Face.
Every template is:
- Opinionated but editable – Swap container images, clusters, or resource presets in seconds.
- Fully versioned – Publish revisions, roll back, or create draft copies for safe iteration.
- Drag‑and‑drop DAG editing – rearrange or insert steps directly in the visual pipeline graph.
How to Get Started
Public Hub (open to all VESSL users)
- Browse ➜ Head to Hub › Public in the right nav bar.
- Filter ➜ Use the new category chips to narrow results.
- Preview ➜ Click a card to read the Overview, drill into the Graph, or inspect raw YAML.
- Play ➜ Hit Play from this template, set your variables (e.g.,
HF_TOKEN), choose your cluster/preset, and go. - Publish ➜ As it moves to the pipeline, you can run the template you just published.
Private Hub (Enterprise plans)
- Go to Private hub ➜ Pipeline within your org space.
- Create a new template or fork an existing one.
- Use the drag‑and‑drop graph editor to add steps: data prep ➜ training ➜ eval ➜ deployment.
- Save a Draft, gather feedback, then Publish for teammates.
- Every revision is version‑controlled; roll back anytime.
